Positive or Negative Offset?
I'm having trouble deciding on a wheel size and the proper offset. I have a 2016 F150 4x4 Crew Cab that originally came with 275/65R18's. I want bigger tires to fill the wheel wells and stick out just enough to look good under the Barricade Raptor Style Fender Flares I installed but I don't want to have to regear or for them to rub. I did install a 2" Rough Country Level Lift. I'm sold on Nitto Ridge Grapplers for the aggressive look (though truth be told I'll seldom be off road). I love the look of the Fuel Vapor flat black wheels but they're limited on sizes and offsets for my truck. I don't know if I should go with an 18x9 with the -12 offset or a 20x10 with a -18 offset. Again I don't want them to stick out too far, but I don't want them to rub either. I'm considering the 33 12.50 version of whichever wheel size I settle on. Anyone with a similar setup and suggestion?
How much further do the new flares stick out over the factory flares? I am leaning more toward the -20 offset to get them out a little more to sit flush with your new flares.

Going from an 18x7.5 +44 to an 18x9 -12 will be a huge difference. Without doing the math to the gnat's ***** you are effectively looking at almost 3 inches further out from factory. A little over 2 inches just for the offset plus an additional 3/4" for the rim width.
It will definitely look nice but if it's your DD then there is that to consider as well. I replaced my stock wheels with 18x9 +25. It's definitely wider but not so much that I notice it in the steering. If anything it feels a little firmer. The +44 was definitely sporty feeling.
