Default 18" to 17"?

16 xlt fx4 with 2.25 level. Has anyone gone from a 18" stock rim to a 17" aftermarket rim? Do they fit over the calipers? TIA.

Unless you've got a big brake kit or something they should fit. I've got 17s on my 16 FX4

35's won't fit stock. Have 285/70/17 on 17x8.5 fuel trophy with plus 6 offset. On stock suspension, xlt screw 4x4, I clear the rear crash bar by the width of a carpenter's pencil.

Does that mean this offset would fit? I'm also installing a 2 inch leveling kit tomorrow

Great pick on the wheels, if my truck was white or silver I was leaning towards those or the XD RG1.

I would search for a couple trucks with a similar setup as what you are putting on to confirm. I believe your additional offset helps how close to the crash bar you are if you have the same width tire. Once you go wider on your tire you lose that clearance.

Hopefully the level gives you the clearance you need and you're happy with your setup.
