Default Maestro Radio Replacement Solution - 2013/14 F150 with 4.3 Inch Screen

Hello all,

The time has come to announce the launch of the iDatalink Maestro solution for the 2013/14 F150 with "My Ford" radio (4.3 inch screen).

To install a radio in your truck using our solution you will need two parts:

ADS-MRR (MSRP $169.99) - Radio replacement module - retains steering wheel controls and Sync (if equipped).
KIT-F150 (MSRP $349.99) - Dash kit with T-harness and built in climate controls.

The kit includes: Dash Bezel with HVAC Controls, Storage pocket with flush-mount ports, T-harness for radio/Maestro RR, Back-up Camera harness (for if the camera image is in the 4.3 inch screen), metal radio mounting brackets.

The dash kit is now in production and we expect to have it available for sale in late May.

This solution can be used with any 2DIN radio (and 1DIN too, but we don't provide any way to close up the other half of the hole). When used with a non-iDatalink compatible radio, you cannot retain Sync, but you can retain steering wheel controls and back up camera (if camera image shown on 4.3 inch screen).

When you use it with a Pioneer compatible radio (http://maestro.idatalink.com/compatible-radios/) you get the above plus the retention of Sync for calling and as an additional USB port/media player.

When you use it with a Kenwood or Alpine compatible radio you also get performance gauges, tire pressure monitoring, check and reset engine codes, and back up camera/visual parking assist. In addition, you can operate your climate control using BOTH the controls in the dash kit and the on-screen climate control buttons.

The kit is stunning with exact match factory controls, radio placement high in the dash, and a cool pocket with USB, HDMI and 3.5mm ports flush mounted into it. To connect these, you simply connect the wires from your radio to the back of the port and plug your device into the front.

Here are some actual pictures and screen shots. A couple forum members will be receiving sample kits early next week and I will leave it to them to post reviews and first impressions.

Those of you in the industry that happen to be attending the Spring MERA show, we have a truck there with this gear installed.
