Looks a lot better than the appradio. The appradio was garbage.

Looking through the linked list of radios in the 12v GUY's first post I noticed many are no longer in production or have been replaced with a different model. Any chance of updating the your website?

Not really, because if you have one of those radios it is still compatible.

Understood. I'm new to car audio market....well how about "old" to the car audio market. The last time I installed a car stereo was some time in the early 80's. I've never even looked at what's out there until I bought my '14 F150 with it's 4.3 abortion they call a stereo..

I'm trying to wade through the offerings that are out there. Wow! It's almost overwhelming.

Any one have a suggestion that will work with 12V GUY's setup. I'd rather not do one with nav if possible due to the added cost of the unit. I'd like to keep my steering wheel controls and factory rear camera for sure.

I do like my XMSirius so that would be a bonus but if not oh well. As bad as it is I'd like to keep Sync unless there are compatible units or units that can replace the basic Sync functions. I'd just like to be able to make/receive calls.

The current models for 2015 are:

Alpine: INE-957HD, X008U, X009-U
Kenwood:
A/V Only: DDX5902, DDX9702S, DDX9902S
Navi: DNX572BH, DNX692, DNX892, DNN992
Pioneer: All the ones on the site are current.

And in fact you can use almost any 2DIN radio you like so long as it has steering wheel input. However, I would stay with mainstream brand. You will just get only what is listed above for features.

A nice choice for a lot of "bang for the buck" is the DDX5902. It's not navi, but you can retain SW controls, Sync and get all the extra goodies. you may also be able to find last year's version of that radio on close out, the DDX5901HD.

Hope this helps.
