So, which FORscan changes did you end up making? Did they fix your roll-off issues or are you using the LC6.1200 to patch it up?
Also, has anyone tested the Sync 3 to see at what volume it begins to distort/clip? Or is this a non-issue when going to line level outputs?

28 on the factory headunit the signal begins to clip. With non-Sony, there isn't anything to flatten.

More specifically, I’m investigating what is going on with the 18+ non B&O Sync 3 systems regarding TA, EQ, crossover, roll-off and what FORScan can do about it. It appears you can’t do much except change it to low-level and rely on your equipment to put the signal back together.
You would be the first person I’ve heard say there is no EQ, roll-off, crossover, or weak rear channel to fix. The video posted above appears to be a non-Sony / non-B&O and there’s certainly some changes going on. I PM’d you a while back about this and got no response.
Thanks for the clipping info.

Just interested in his solutions.

There is not time alignment either unless you set that in the audio settings for driver focused.
There are no active crossovers on the non-Sony/b&o. There are only passive crossovers for the tweeters.
In other words, the non factory amplified headunit is an excellent source for adding an aftermarket system. The signal it outputs is great.

Bass is alive & kicking
I own a 2018 F150 XL STX w/8” sync 3. Never noticed the bass getting weaker as volume increased but I have completely changed out my speakers with JBLs Concert Edition for F150. It has two 8” subs and a 360 watt amp w/DSP, along with 4 door speakers. Its a complete plug n play package designed to keep stock HU. Designed for non-Sony systems. The bass isn’t going to break any windows but you cant really beat the whole package for $499.
