Help needed after amp install

I literally matched the wires on the FOR-11CK to the amp and went with it. Power and ground needs to come from the battery I'm assuming? If I do that, should I just go ahead and run a remote wire to a source as well? Now I'm confused about why this harness is marketed as plug and play. haha

It's plug and play for audio signal. Not power. You need power and ground from the battery. Remote turn on can come from fuse 23 in the passenger foot well.
