One thing I forgot to mention is that the DNX6140 has a mini usb port on the back for updates. I would buy a 6' male-to-male mini usb with a standard A usb. I am probably going to pull the HU this weekend and run it next to my ipod and usb cable. This would make updates to the unit easy with a laptop.
I've had my 6140 installed for almost a month and I love it. I only have two minor gripes - no time of day display on the nav page and my bluetooth phone doesn't always sync unless I turn off bluetooth on the phone then back on.
I added the HD radio unit when I installed the radio and it works great!

I haven't tried to use it for updates but that is apparently what it is for. If everything is burnable to a disc then there is no need. I mainly wanted to do that so I could update some voices etc easily from my PC.
I think there is a way to get the clock on the nav page. I'll look into that. So far my bluetooth has worked flawlessly with my Blackberry storm.
