So, still waiting for more info from scosche about my backup camera.

I took my whole dash apart yesterday and took a better look at my sync harness. It looks very obvious that this harness was "modified" after it was manufactured. My guess is this is a production line change for a 2.7 that received MFT as an option. It also appears that the modification was to remove an additional connector. The position of this change seems to coincide with where that extra connector for the 4.2" would branch off.

I have a request but not sure if anyone has it. I would to see a picture of the harness that the 4.2 connection from the scosche unit connects to. I think this is the key to why the camera isn't working. I understand if nobody is able to help.

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks for the link. The whole reason that you buy a Scosche unit is to plug in play. Hopefully this will get figured out

Unfortunately this means that the FD6209B ecu is detecting a fault in one of the passenger airbag LED circuits.

Either the passenger airbag LED PCB, LED wiring loom or main control unit from the dash kit is faulty.

I totally agree. The 2013-14 dash kits from Scosche also had crappy hvac controls. idatalink is much better!

So, I received a response from scosche. I need to jumper one ground to another in the factory harness. Apparently the ground is weak on the pin they used as it applies to my configuration. I will be working on this this weekend and will finally be able to post a writeup on my install.

Also, I was able to utilize the factory sat antenna with a simple barrel connector that adapts the factory fakra connector to the smb of the aftermarket tuner. My brother works for Sirius and he sent me the adapter. Because of that I don't have a part number but I will include that in my write up.
