Default Well Hello.

Hey everyone, i'm new here. I purchased an 89 f150 with 105xxx miles on it recently for my daily driver. The thing is MINT. Was owned by an elderly man and has a wheel chair lift in the back of the bed. I don't think its ever been used to haul anything since the paint in the bed looks as though it came off the showroom floor. It's 2wd with the FI 302. It sat for 3 years and the guy put a new forward tank and battery in it along with flushing the injectors as it was sitting for 3 years. I did some other regular maintenance to it as well.

I'm pretty new to Ford's but not at ALL new to the Nissan 'scene' or whatever you want to call it. I've had my 240 for 4-5 years now and i'm on quite a bit of those forums..

Anyways, I joined up because i've been having some issues with this thing recently and I figured this would be a good place to start searching for answers. The pickup just developed a pretty bad miss/hesitation when its warm. I don't want to say much more as this is an intro forum, not the "i'm new fix my pickup" forum.

Anyways just figured i'd say hi.

- Chase

PS: I think it's kind of funny you guys have chevy ads on here haha

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with your new rig... Welcome and I hope some of the "been there done that" guys can help you out! And yes, GMC, Chevy and Toyota ads are all here to remind us that we like our fords much better.

Hah, thanks guys! Been reading a couple threads and it looks like it's a pretty common problem with these things... only think i dont like is some people cant figure out the solution. Misfire only when its warm and sort of bucks/hesitates when driving.

I like that, "reminds us of how much more we like our fords."
Hah
