Default Trailer wiring ?

how do i activate the hot leed in my wiring harness so my trailer interior lights will work?
Its a 2003 F150 supercrew. thanks

Turn up your dimmer switch untill the interior lights in your truck come on.

I'm pretty sure you have to have the headlights or parking lights on on your truck in order for the power to be sent back to the trailer. And oh yeah, plug in the wires!

did you try taking a multimeter to that pin to see if it was hot?

Not to be stupid, but alot of trailers I have seen have a separate battery, not all but enough to check.

problem solved, coiled wire hiden under the fuse box needed to be attached. thanks everyone for your ideas.
