Default Somebody help me!

Hey ya'll, Sweet Tea here from Nashville. Can anyone advise or direct me where to go to solve a little puzzel. I am considering buying a work truck... a 93-94 F-150 that I found in Good 'ole Boy's front yard out in Hickville. The only problem is I need help with an oil pressure/pump issue. It is the straight 6 engine-fuel injeceted. Starts and runs fine, engine sounds good, but after about 1m at idle, oil pressure falls to zero!

The engine begins to make slight lifter noise after a minute or so and I cut it off. He said he had new pump installed recently to correct this problem but that did not fix it...GOB is only asking $800 for this wagon and that sounds good to me if I can see past this little deal with oil pressure.

Does anyone recognize this problem??? I want this truck if I know I could fix it for a couple of hundred...

What do ya'll think? Can you help a country boy out here???

Welcome to the site! First of all, make sure the thing has oil in it. Then you can try changing the oil pressure sensor. I changed mine and the pressure came up. Otherwise, it will need new main and rod bearings.
