hi yall, just bought a 2005 f-150 FX4 reg cab black. just a few questions i previously had a 1997 f-150 with a 4.6 and it seemed a heck of alot snappy'R when i would kick it down it would rev to 6+ and have great sound my new 2005 5.4 doesnt rev that high and honestly kinda seems like a pig... why is that?? larger motor you would think it would scream a bit more.. little disapointed...

Not sure what to tell ya, gearing and tuning can have lot to do with how much speed or acceleration you get. I am sure some others here can do a better job explaining the differences.
