Default New to the forum

Just registered on the forum, and wanted to say hello to everybody. I am currently seeking an F150, and am looking at a 1999 for sale locally that does need some TLC. Definitely excited to learn quite a bit from the forum, and hopefully contribute as well.

truck will definitely be a 'fixer upper' has some body damage, primarily on the bed. but I will be putting money in it little by little, and just be a good daily driver. getting it from a friend, and the price is pretty decent. here is some info on the truck

1999 F150 XLT, white
4.2 v6 2wd
ext cab, long bed
full power

has higher mileage, but still runs strong

this is a list of things wrong with the truck:
needs drivers side tail light
needs both front corner lenses
needs all new front bumper
drivers side fender got pushed slightly into the door, but door operates fine, just about a 1/2" peeled back
needs drivers side ext cab glass
bed/tail gate both dinged up
needs pass. side mirror

mostly nickel/dime cosmetic stuff. only major issue (cost wise) is the bed, which i am not all that worried about from the start. just going to fix all the little stuff, and make it look better and drive it until the wheels fall of

alright everybody, finally bought a truck today, here is some info, with pics to come tomorrow.

black 1998 F150 XLT
ext cab w/ 3rd door and topper (will be removed and stored)
4x4
4.6 with a lot of miles, but runs great

has a few minor issues, but I feel like I got a pretty decent deal on the truck.

like stated earlier, pics are soon to come!
