Introduction
I've had a few post on here, over the last few months, but I guess I never properly introduced myself. I was a member on a F-250 forum until training my diesel in for a 5.0 last Nov. I got tired of paying for diesel all year, in order to pull a few things a few times a year. I love my new F-150. Been trying to do a few modifications to it, to make it my truck & not look like every other white F-150 4x4 out there. So far all I've added is my Husky Liners (a must have if you live in the country & have kids) & my bug shield. I've also ordered a set of camo Headwaters seat covers & a 2" Daystar leveling kit (neither one has made it here yet). I guess the only other thing I plan to buy pretty quick is a set of 295/70R18 Nitto Terragraplers. That should be different enough for me. Thanks for all the help I've already received from y'alls pics & opinions.
Autocar here. Introducing myself.
I am a trucker from Texas, had been a diesel mechanic until 2002, I imagine by now the technology has passed me by but working on engines is still something I enjoy.
My neighbor handed me a 1990 Ford F-150 Lariat with all kinds of problems starting with no brakes (yes I drove it home like that, I am crazy after all) but after a master cylinder and a little brake fluid I was on my way to rebuilding this poor old pickup.
It is a mission of mercy. One day I will just jerk the block out of it and start over!
