Default Intro and question

New to the page and looking to answer just a couple questions. If you had only a bare cab. Could you identify what era it is as to if it's the late 80's-91 or if it was a 92+?

What's the differences in them?

Also, between those two generations of F150, disregard mounting methods, would the front clips interchange and body lines line up if mounting style wasn't a concern?

BTW, the cab does have a spot for a 3rd break light if that helps and it's a standard cab.

Ignore the rest of the truck... Look at JUST the cab on a '90 standard cab and a '94 standard cab. Without any of the other body work, can you tell the difference? I can't...

I'm not exactly working with your run of the mill F150 here and I'm trying to figure out if I can put either year run of front clip on it and the body lines will line up or not... But hey thanks for the AMAZING ADVICE!!!

Cry me a river, it's the internet... I asked a simple question. How can you ID the difference in the two cabs if that's all you have and I get a reply of look on google??? Yeah, thanks for the help buddy, I appreciate it... This is 2013 last I saw, google is basically step 1 when looking for info isn't it? Way before joining a forum, that's for sure!

BTW, yes, I also searched the forum before posting as well but all the info I could find was in regards to the rest of the cosmetic differences in the years. Not solely the cabs. I'm working with only a cab and half a frame rail. Hence the detailed initial question asking about a bare frame.

If you're so high up on your high horse that that's the best info you can reply is google, then sorry that you wasted your time replying.

BTW, I'm far from a *****, in fact I'm actually pretty polite and thankful when I get useful answers other then "google"...

The easiest way to tell what year it may be is by looking at pics of trucks to match the body lines by, that wasn't just a google link, it was a link to google images where you could put in "1980 Ford P/U truck" and get a face full of trucks that year, now if that year don't look right try it with a different year.

Simple but you chose to be a dick about it. You don't want help, you want to be spoon fed and that don't fly, I help people that help themselves and I will not spoon feed anyone, with that said put down your sippy cup, climb out of your high chair and put your big boy britches on and use the helpful advice I gave you or don't, I could really careless.
