You will have a option for performance tuning based on regular or premium fuel. select the one you are using. The speed limiter can be raised as far up as 128 mph based on the speed rating of aftermarket tires. For the automatic transmission raise your shift points + 300 rpms on each. Set the rev limiter to + 500 rpms to accomadate the new shift points. Shift firmness is a yes/no question, select yes. If you have taller tires 0r different gear ratio you can recalibrate the speedometer so it will read correctly.

Thanks, Gary @ Hypertech

Hypertech could you help me set up my truck.
I have a 2005 F150 XL 4.6L V8 2 wheel drive work truck. I would like to set it up for fuel economy. I have the hypertech econ tuner but since i just purchased i was given an upgrade to max energy.(which is awesome)
thanks!
also do you have the dyno map for the 2005's?

Select the tune for 87 octane and that will get you the best timing & fuel curve for your 2005 F150 4.6. The other features will not get you better mph but will help the truck. Raise the rev limiter to + 500 rpms & raise the shift points to + 300 rpm's on each one. The shift firmness helps cut down on the clutch packs slipping cutting down heat & wear. Leave the speed limiter stock if you do not have speed rated tires. It can correct the speedometer for different height tires or different gear ratios.

Any question contact Gary @ Hypertech

Thanks Gary!
I did find that is what you posted for a similar truck and it has been working great so far! I will report my fuel mileage increase here shortly too.
My truck has new life!
