I've been in a couple of times already, but I thought I'd introduce myself. I live in WA state, work in the city, but live in the boonies. I have an 85 F250 with a rebuilt 460, 4X4-I've had it for ten years, and it's never let me down. However, I needed something a little nicer for the commute, with a little better MPG. So I recently bought a 2000 F150, with the 5.4L, 4X4. I'm just getting used to it, and so far it looks to be a great rig. I'll probably work on some performance upgrades when time and money permits. It's great to be here in the forums, I've learned a ton in the short time I've been visiting. I hope to be able to contribute too! At least I'll put in my .02 worth.

Welcome to the site. Hope you have good luck with your new rig. I have a 98 02 and a 04. Love the first two. No major problems with either. The 04 is a different story. It will soon be for sale and I will be buying another 01 2 or 3. I don't know if its just my truck but the 04 just seems to be lacking power even after a new motor. I also have a 88 so I have a wide variety of Fords. This site has helped me out a lot with answers to questions on all of them. Some questions I didn't even know I had. Lol! Very knowledgeable people eager to help. I have become addicted to this place.

Welcome!!!!

Sounds like a badass F250.

I use to live in WA, all over.. Lived in Goldbar, such a awesome place. Very few people, and rivers and creeks to fish!

azfx4-the 85 has a great motor, and is built like a tank. I'm pretty sure it would pull my house down the road, if I asked it to. It's not much to look at though, it needs paint, and has lots of bumps and bruises. I use it more as a farm truck now, and don't really need it around, but I'll never get rid of it. It was my first truck....
Glad to hear you lived in WA. I'm in the Woodinville area, pretty close to Goldbar.
