Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Slowride. Been wanting to check this site out for awhile.....nice place. One question though, why is there a Chevy truck advertisement on a FORD site?? Doesn't quite make sense to me.
Anyways, I have a '98 F-150 2wd that belonged to my dad and I got it after he died. Haven't done much to it yet, but one day down the road, I have a few things I'd like to do to it.
Well, that's it. I'll be around time to time.

Thanks for the welcome guys!!
Well first thing is get the passenger side fender, tailgate, and driver side cab corner fixed / replaced, shave / delete name plates, and get the hole truck painted (still debating on keeping two tone or go with one color). Then add a lowering kit, roll pan, front bumper cover, new front grill, and maybe some air ride suspension (or at least upgrade the suspension), upgrade brakes, go all poly bushings, and get some wheels. Inside, do away with split front bench and go with captains / bucket seats and large center console (probably custom) and do some more upgrading to the stereo. Engine and drive train...when comes time to rebuild it...replace heads with a set of worked over 5.4L heads I have sitting around, forged crank, H-beam rods, pistons, bore at least .20 over, headers, intake / TB upgrades (or possibly roots super charger), MAF upgrade, ignition upgrades, fuel pump / system upgrade, higher stall TC and rebuild the 4R70W up to the same level as the one in my '97 Cougar XR-7.
Since it's a 2WD truck...going for speed, handling, and looks.
