Hey all,
Hoping someone can direct me to the right thread or help. I bought a truck with the PX6 android radio installed and am having trouble replacing the android admin. The admin is currently setup with an account that has expired and was managed via parental controls.
What is the best way to get admin access to the PX6 device in my new to me Raptor pickup truck?

Can you do a factory reset on the radio? That would clear any accounts. The only issue is if you need the administrator pin to perform the reset.
Otherwise I wonder if you could do it from the bootloader, but then you are starting to tread in deeper waters if you are not familiar with android hacking.
So those are two great ideas.
A. For the factory reset since the last admin was a child account the back up and reset functions are locked to a parental access code in Family link. I dont have the parental access code.
B. I think you are suggesting a root? But am unable to allow outside applications on the device for the same reason - no parental access code.
a quick google search shows some threads out there for a full master reset and the also a full wipe and format, might have to do that to clear it all. Id probably go that route so you're starting from fresh with all the settings etc...
