Default Hello from Texas

Hey guys. I'm in my first Ford in 16 years or so. My first new car was a reg cab Ranger and I grew up on Ford trucks...so it's nice to be back to my roots. I just traded my Jeep in on a 2010 F-150 Platinum 4x4 and it's crazy nice. It's sort of weird that it's a 4x4 w/20" Pirelli street tires, but it looks so good.

Any words of wisdom on mods?

Welcome to the forum.
I have a variety of years of Ford trucks and it amazes me how they are better every model change !
Comfort and ride quality is exceptional in the newer trucks.
Congrats on the new truck.

Just a couple I took with my phone. I'd forgotten how much I liked Ford trucks. It's reminding me pretty quickly.

Thanks. My understanding is that the F-150 doesn't really require a "leveling kit" as such, but rather just a fine tuning of the front shocks to level it out so I'll be checking into that.

I'll probably run these tires down a bit, but will then beef it up with some 33-35s. I'm also thinking about some performance mods, but not sure where to go with it. It seems that a cold air intake is out because apparently the intake is throaty enough that changing to a high flow air filter is about all that's necessary. Any suggestions?
