Hello, my name is Jim and I work in the Ethanol industry. I live in Nebraska with my wife and two children. All of my life I have been a GM/Chevy guy, and I don't currently own a Ford. The following are my reasons for wanting to buy a new F150:
1. GM is making me sick to my stomach with all of the money they have taken from the government, and now their auditors think that they will still go bankrupt!
2. Recent GMC and Chevy trucks are just plain UGLY!
3. The Fords look awesome! Especially the 2009's.
4. Ford is not taking any money from the taxpayers... er I mean the government!
5. Did I mention that the 2009's look awesome?

Welcome to the site. I actually live in Omaha! Everyone here has been very helpful and informative. At first I didn't care for the 2009s, probably because I had just bought my 06' but they have grown on me, especially the new FX4. I have been thoroughly impressed with my ford and I'm sure you'll love yours when you get it.

I think you should definitely get the Ford. They are probably a little underpowered coming from the factory, but nothing a CAI, exhaust and some custom tuning can't take care of.
