Hello from NC
Hi all, first post here but I have been reading the forum for quite a while. I am considering the F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 as my first truck (and second Ford product). I owned a Thunderbird back in the mid-80s I affectionately called my "Thunder-chicken" since it was in the shop more than on the road at times. I think it was an '83 model. I'm sure this experience should be much better than that one.
I've owned several 4x4 Jeep Grand Cherokees so it won't be my first 4x4 vehicle.
Anyway, this Lariat just really impressed me. It is as comfortable and has tons more room than any of the luxury cars I've looked at recently. I currently own an Infiniti G35 and it's a heck of a car but my lease is expiring and I'm thinking hard about this truck.
My uncle (who is very hard to please) has a Cadillac and a newer F-150. Ever since he bought the truck, he doesn't drive the Caddy anymore. That's what got me looking at the truck to begin with. Once driving it, I was quite impressed. Think I'll hold out for better factory incentives on the 2010 models, but I hope to be joining your ranks as an F-150 owner soon.
