This is a great site. Once you get one of these fine vehicles, you will see why.

Ninja - My recommendation is look for an 05 or beyond simply because the 04 was the first year with the new body style and just like anything new they seem to have the most bugs. The only thing you truly need to be concerned about with the 04-08 models is the spark plug issue. There is an issue with them breaking off in the heads upon removal, but there is a special tool and TSB out on how to properly remove the broken plugs. If I were purchasing a used F150 I would have the dealership change out the plug to a one piece plug before I actually purchased.

Other than that concern these trucks are great and definitely built Ford tough!

Thanks, good to know, are there any warranty issues or recals that are year specific? Has the 5.4 been changed or modified from 04 to 08?
