Default Hello

Hello everyone.
I am new to the world of trucks. I just bought my first one today but I won't be able to get it until Monday. I am not completely new, I have driven trucks for work but I have never owned one until now. I bought a silver 2006 XLT long bed. These are great looking trucks inside and out. I hope it performs as well as it looks. I can not wait to until Monday.
I hope this site grows quickly so we can all start sharing some good info. I just hope this doesn't turn into a drag racing site.
Can't wait to hear from everyone,
Cam from Canada

Hello again,
I just got it today, signed all the papers at the bank in my home town, filled it up and drove it back to school. It is a three and half hour drive and I figure I averaged 19.6mpg driving at 110 km/h. (I know Kms and Miles but liters per 100 km means nothing to me) That is about par I take it especially with the 4.10 gears. (or do the gears not really make that much of a difference?)

I have two months left of university and them I am finished so I can start paying this bad boy off. (I needed to buy the truck for the job I have lined up)
I am not sure how I post pictures do I just cut and past or do I have to attach them. It isn't that special anyways just a plain silver xlt scab long box. But the interior does look sweet at night.

Hey Jon, I am from and still live in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Here are two pics, the first I had to photoshop the for sale sign out of the window.

I am really starting to like it. It is hard to love it right now because I won't be working for another two months so payments and fuel will be tight.
Who am I kidding it is awesome, I love it! It is so big compared to my last car, and the interior is exactly how I would have designed it. It just looks great. Some controls on the stereo are hard to reach but that could just because I have short arms.
I cleaned it out today and armoralled it so it is nice and shiny on the inside.
