Default Need help with bird drop staining!

About a week ago I had some purplish bird droppinvsdroppings land on the hood. Car wash did not take it off. Tried several things and used a bug off cleaner and it took it off or so I thought. Now I have this. What are my options?

It is a yellow tint. No damage to the clear coat that I csn tell from the naked eye anyway.

Thank you

Have you tried a clay bar and then a cleaner wax?

2nd the clay bar and cleaner wax. If not successful, move up to a mild polish.

So will 600 grit sandpaper, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Nail polish remover is (usually) acetone. Acetone is used to clean the spray guns after applying clear coat. I wouldn't put it anywhere near my paint.

That being said, a quick wipe with acetone probably wouldn't harm the paint immediately, but I still wouldn't use it.

Thank! for that, testing in an area that is not seen would be advised!

I've been painting cars for 25 years and the acetone will not hurt the paint. Especially the diluted down nail polish.

Well. I have not tried the nail polish or alcohol as of yet. I stopped by a well known high profile detailer today and they had two guys try different products on it. Nothing touched it.

Said not sure a machine would do anything and their next step was wet sand which I am not down to try really. They said the same thing it literally soaked into the clear coat.

May try the dealer next and see what they say.
