Default Engine bay

What do you guys use to clean the engine bay? Is there a product you can just spray on in the driveway and then hose it off and everything will look new again? Obviously without damaging the coils or anything electronic.

Nothing that is "spray and rinse" will make it like new, but a little engine degreaser, some light scrubbing and using McKee's trim detailer has worked extremely well for me.

Even without the pre-scrub, it's pretty impressive.

Cleaning depends...Does it need degreasing?

On a cool engine I like to cover the electrics with plastic bags/Saran Wrap etc.
I do this before misting the engine or spraying it with APC or engine cleaner.
Be Careful: Keep water and liquids away from electrics!

My method
Mask off alternator, intake filter, electrics etc.
Carefully spray a cool engine with a garden hose nozzle.
Spray engine with 25% simple green & 75% water mixture.
Let it sit for a few minutes then spray it all off with a hose.
Use a leaf blower and dry off the engine in all the nooks and cranny's.
When the engine is dry I like using Vinylex or Sonus Trim & Motor Kote.
