Default Go to last read post when entering thread

On other forums when I enter a thread that I have previously been reading I am taken to the last read post. I am not able to find a way to do that with this forum and am wondering if I am just overlooking it or if it is even possible. That is a very handy feature and saves a lot of time. I am aware of the link that can be clicked on to be taken to the last read thread but that is a manual process and just adds additional steps and time. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I really thought this would be a feature wanted by more users.

If you're logged in, click on that little blue box next to the thread title.
(It has a down arrow on it)
If you hover your cursor over it, it says "go to first new post"

That is why I described it as a manual process in the OP rather than being automatic. I know it doesn't seem like much but once you have used it for any period of time it sure is a nice feature to have.

I just looked in the user settings and didn't see something like that I could turn on. Sorry. I'll ask the parent company if they know anything about that.
