He doesn't want the last post. He wants the first unread post. I've already posted an image for that, since there's no option to do it automatically anymore.

^ Use the little 'down' arrow to the left of the thread title to go to first unread without having to open the thread, then the first unread button.

This is exactly what I was looking for. While not as convenient to use as just clicking on the thread title it is still an acceptable solution. Thanks
