There is some ad that is causing pop ups when viewing the forums from iPhone. It basically redirects the page, and creates a pop up that you can't close. You have to click OK (to accept) or close the browser window.
Swiping to go back just makes the redirect happen again.

 

hmm, my iPhone 6 is not experiencing this. Using safari.

I never click any "ok" pop ups if they lock the screen. I'll shut the power off before I do that....lots of sneaky stuff can happen if you hit the "accept" button on an unknown pop up....

 

This is happening on tons of IB owned sites. Using the mobile theme helps a little, but they'd rather get some extra ad revenue than filter out ads and the ad networks associated with them.

I had this happen so often that I'm now forced to use the subpar Garage Talk app if I want to access the forums without being redirected from the threads I want to see.

Tapatalk is miles beyond Garage Talk. But I don't really have a say in which app provides mobile access, so here we are.

 

Also, admins, please stop the virus called "C7Jake" that keeps spamming every thread with pics of a stock Raptor.

I have an adblocker at home - I wasn't even aware I could "add one" to my iphone. Maybe I should look into alternative web browsers - maybe some of them have one built in?

 

I'm getting some type of congratulations you won BS. I have to back out of everything and start over, very frustrating.
