You should look into liftin the truck a bit. It sits a little low. haha.

It looks like you put alot of work into your truck man, kudos for that.

Gears make anything possible. I've seen V6's run 40 plus inch tires.

^^^^ Very true. It has a 4.6 in it but don't be fooled, I could white smoke the tires 49's at 100mph if I wanted. I would have to power brake, or it would start taking off while burnin em down.

It had a posi with 5.38 gears, the motor had e-fans, C.A.I, and a huge tranny cooler.

In the mud it would float over it. Never got in mucky mud like I did with my chevy on 44's,

But I did get up to water to about 4" up on the door and it turded out on me, BAD... couldn't build but like 2300 RPM's which pissed me off cuz my chevy would have rapped out. It was a crate 350 with 4.88's locked

So thats about the time frame I had with it, the F-150 that is, I had it big for about a year when I parked it out onto the land, and bought the harley

So did't really care for working on the maroon truck anymore!

I purchased the harley frame and motor to actually redo the maroon truck since it's the same frame, but once I got it going 2x4(my first) supercharged at that I felt it was too much fun to make it big

So four years later and to the point of were I'm burnt out on working on the Harley I decided to get The big truck going again!

That was last year this time.

Well I guess I'll turn this thread into more of a build I guess.

Yes I'm doing rockwells(6.72 gearing) detroit lockers, Disc brakes at all 4 corners, pinion brakes with the rear being my parking brake, with 18" F.O.A. coilovers--- 26.25" collapsed......44.25" extended.

Doing a straight in the rear until I can recoop some money to do rear steer, plus I think it will be more "road worthy" hahaha with it for the time being.

Motor 5.4 supercharged, (extra harley parts) Th400 with a divorced Np205 transfercase, prolly gonna end up going turbo (88mm), before the 5.4 gets yanked out. And I'll be piecing together a EFI 460 and will prolly put it in when I go rear steer.

With all that being said it'll prolly be a year before I get it sitting on the rocks and coilovers, it all depends on how much I get to work on it!

Oh and your truck looks cool with the 49 and 52's on it. How big of a lift is that?
...just some good-natured jabs to make life less tedious.
I recently tried posting some pics and found that six was the max allowable.
