Wipe New
Black Magic put out a product that works for the interior. I tried it on the exterior and though it took a couple applications, it looks real good. Always wanted to try the Wipe New stuff though
Been two months since my original application. Trim looks just as good the day i put it on and the grill is still nice and dark. We've gotten alot of rain and hot hot days since I first put it on so it doesn't just wash off.
Bump. Will post updated pics tomorrow. I've used this product on a few vehicles now. I would recommend using a degreaser such as Purple Power! for maximum results.

Nice! I'm jacked. I think I'll go pick a bottle up. I was planning on painting my cowl with Krylon or something, and then ordering the rubber end pieces once it's done. Looks like this will be happening in the near future, as well as the rubber end pieces.
Any word on how this stuff holds up? I've seen a couple more people give it great reviews, but haven't seen much long term. I got really side-tracked over the last 5 months or so and haven't bought any.
I think that "Wipe New" is a revamp of an old product from years ago. Something like "ReNu" trim and finish restorer. I've got it downstairs somewhere, just gotta look for it. We used it a lot when my Dad and I sold cars back in the late 70's thru the 80's. The problem with that stuff was water spots and fading. Maybe the Wipe New cured that. Now a days I use Turtle Wax Ice on my chrome and black trim. The trick is to use it sparingly, give it ample time to dry, then wipe it well. With Wipe New, you just give it one swipe with a lite coat and that's it.
