Default Wipe New

I recently saw a tv ad for Wipe New, a plastic restoring product, and it seems to me like a too good to be true product. I thought Id make a thread to see if it really works. Has anyone tried it?

I use Stoners Trim Shine. Spray it on and walk away. Makes grey/white plastic look new. Easiest product to make plastics look new. Two minutes every six months and you're done.

Maybe it's the same chemical but I like the ease of just spraying it on.

It really does work, gives a nice black luster to the dull grey plastics. Only thing is do exactly as it says and do NOT wipe over more then once and do NOT scrub.

So I just tried it today. I'm quite pleased with the results. I put the Wipe New on about 4 hours ago and so far it looks great.
I only put one coat on the grill and it appears to be getting darker and less spotty every time I look at it. I guess I'll have to wait the full 24 hours to see the final results.
In total I did my grill, my bedrails, the trim around the rear window, the running boards and the tailgate handle. I believe I should have done two coats on my bed rails because the results aren't as good as the rest of the truck. Unfortunately I didnt take before pics of the running boards or tailgate handle so I can only show the final results. I only used one coat for all of these spots, however, I do believe I should have used two coats on the bed rails, and grill.

P.S. for some reason the pics of the rear window before and after pics look almost the same. There is a much bigger difference in person. I left a small patch at the top untouched to see the change and the untouched part is much lighter and more dull then the rest of the window trim.
Also, there's a light spot on the tailgate handle, I believe that was user error that caused this slight discoloration not a failure of the product.

I've always used Armor All and Black Magic with great initial results but the finish never seems to last more than a few weeks. I recently tried Turtle Wax "Ice" but it left a sticky residue after a few days. I'm very interested to see how this holds up on your truck after a few weeks of sun and washing. I just might give it a try, besides how can you go wrong with a name like "Stoner's" lol PS: Let us know the long term results.

I'll definitely post some pics of it in a couple of months. I also plan on doing the lower valence panel in the front and I'll post before and after pics of that as well. I would've done it today but I wanted to make sure Wipe New wouldn't completely mess my truck up lol.
