F is the difference.
Different shocks, different bed decal, skid plates under fuel tank and little one under motor that looks exactly like what my 2011 non-FX4 4x4 had.
I think that is it. Used to include different rims and interior stuff before it just became an option and not a full trim level.

Not much, the basics have been covered.
I would not get too hung up on the FX4 package, the only major component is the rear locker, which is available without FX4 and included in other packages like Max tow.

Forgot the locker, never touched it.
You get hill descent button too, and extra modes on the drive mode dial. You can add the extra modes to any 4x4 with Forscan I believe.
