Some HIDS are like that I don't like it either. as for the radio getting scratchy your battery might not be putting out enough. double check and make sure its the right size. my buddy had a 98 mercedes that had too small of a battery and his windows weren't working, radio, etc. once the real size battery was set in everything worked great. Just a thought

This is my center support bearing mount:

The driveshaft is worn and kept pushing the bearing out of the rubber so I welded in holders.

It doesn't need the bearing, the bearing has always been fine. It needs the driveshaft.

That is why your suspension looks stock? You answered your own question. Its a body lift not a suspension lift. I've seen lots of home made body lifts that work just fine, never heard of welding em to the frame, but if done right it could work just fine as well. Remember "body lift kits" are just plastic spacers, so steel (if used properly) could be a lot stronger.

Lots of aftermarket HID's are only low beams, can't explain the radio though.

only the front 2 bodylifts are steel the rest are actual body lift spacers, and the guy who i bought it from said it had 3" body lift and 3" suspension lift.
