Default Volume

I'm sure this sounds stupid. But when I start my truck and the phone connects , it says '911 assists is shut off'. But the volume of this to me is quite loud. Is there anyway to turn that '911 assist' volume down or off completely ?
Thanks for the help.

Turn it on. That way if your incapacitated from a wreck your truck will call for help provided the phone still works and is paired. The procedure is in the owners manual.

You can adjust the volume of the voice responses. I don't remember off of the top of my head where it is on the NAV screen but it's in there.

When I first bought my '12 used I was farting around with the NAV in the driveway and left an active route on it but the voice volume was turned WAY down. I drove it to work the next day and couldn't figure out why my stereo kept dropping volume. Figured it was a bug until I realized it was doing it at every INTERSECTION! lol

I can adjust the volume of the "trucks voice" by either hitting the volume down on my steering column or turning the volume **** on the radio while "it" is speaking. Not sure about the phone as I have no desire or need to sync it up

stainlessman,

mptoledo is correct. Use the volume **** while SYNC is speaking to adjust the sound. If you prefer to turn 911 Assist on, let me know which system you have: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-t...c-version.html I will provide the instructions.
