I had a 2011 ecoboost and it was great with 30k miles when I traded for my 13 lariat Eco with 50k and no issues and I live in New England where we get all the weather. I agree with the others, enjoy your new truck and don't worry
I survived the ecoboost F150 life for 6 short months. Disappointed from day 1 and my research after the purchase proved I had made a terrible choice. Never should someone buy a vehicle where you have to change the plugs every 15k miles, have to drill a hole in the CAC to evacuate condensate, change oil much more often than normal because of fuel dilution, brake booster failure (ecoboost specific)... It goes on and on. When I bought a truck, I expected it to be like all my prior vehicles and just need basic service every once in a while and have faith it wouldn't kill me. The ecoboost f150 failed me.
From a drivability perspective, i was also disappointed. Power and power delivery were goofy. I hated my 2005 F150 5.4 3V... The F150 ecoboost is now the worst vehicle I ever bought. My V8 f150 is a vastly better truck all around.
well I can see how you're bitter about your EB experience... my '13 is 3 yrs old, 45k miles. original plugs, no CAC hole, no condensation issue, oil changes every 5k miles as per the manuel, no brake failure... what can I tell you?

Here is the perfect example of why what is on forums is skewed. This dude had a bad experience (he only sites having one of the issues he mentions though). He has 60 posts to his name and at least 55 of them are bashing the eco. So you have one guy with one problem and it's multiplied 50 times! This isn't even taking into consideration the eco bashing he has done on other forums.
Enjoy the ride, the salesman I bought mine from just took in a 2011 eco with 255,000km and it never saw the dealer once for a warranty issue.
Look around this set of forums, plus other ecoboost pages... Many more issues than you realize. Ironically, this doesn't just plague the F150. I have a 13 Taurus SHO and it has been a disappointment as well. I will be happy when that car is gone - that was another bad purchase.

Just out of curiosity, if you have had such horrible experiences with multiple fords, why do you continue to buy them?
All bad experiences are specific to the 3.5 ecoboost engine. Never had any other issues with my previous Fords - all were pushed to high miles and never showed these ecoboost problems. This is just a goofy, finiky engine- not for a daily driver or a pickup for that matter.

I've learned not to worry about other people's issues on internet forums if I don't have the same issue. I owned an early build 2011 Ecoboost for 3.5 years and never had a single issue for the 3.5 years I owned that truck. Got bored and decided I wanted a new truck and my 2014 Eco has been trouble free for the 1.5 years that I've owned it.

I've given you the numbers before, it's a drop in the bucket.
Last you typed about the SHO, it was a great car. I think you really just like to get people worked up with your constant "the sky is falling" posts.

Just traded in a 13' ecoboost with 60k and none of that stuff either.
