Very Concerned
I traded in my 2012 Tundra for a 2015 3.5 eco boost. 2 separate dealerships swore by the truck and the motor. Reading the forums here the turbo condensation issue is a bit concerning. I hope i made the right choice. Has ford solved the problem or is it ongoing? I live in Colorado and we do not have much humidity here so i am hoping it isnt a problem.

Enjoy your new truck and don't worry about issues you don't have.

has anyone had the condensation issue on a 15?
I can recall mayyybbbbeeee 1 guy, and I'm not even sure it was a 15.
Put it in Sport Mode and enjoy!

I live in NC and we have plenty of humidity and plenty of heavy rain and I have never had a problem with my 2013 3.5 EB. Almost 26000 miles and still going strong. If I had to buy another I would not hesitate.

Yes, some 2015's have shown the same issue. Ford has no solution to it. They attempted to help by relocating the front license plate bracket to block the intercooler. Still not working. The issue will happen, but your climate will dictate how bad it will be.

You have to keep in mind that the forum is a very small percentage of owners. As many trucks as they have sold over the course of the motor's lifetime, there'd be a NHTSA recall if there were that many problems. No two trucks are equal. What affects one truck will never bother another. Like said above, just drive your truck and enjoy it. I will add that you need to keep up on the maintenance and clean it more than in the rain. That alone will help you identify any possible problems if any actually do arise.
