Default Typical 2025 pricing for 100000 services

In North Texas and took our 2015 F150 Lariat to a reputable local shop for 100k service and oil change. Is $3000 typical for this? Brakes are fine, struts/shocks fine- this did include the due oil change, but seems really high. Is it typical with the current US situation?

That seems steep, but labor is expensive these days. Outside of a basic engine oil change, we need more information. Specifically, what other work was done? What was billed for labor?

If you did engine oil/filter, Transmission oil/filter, brake fluid replacement, new pads and rotors, new tires, new battery, drain snd repfil coolant, you should still have change out of $3k

Default Ford F150 100k Service

I have a 2012 F150 FX4 5.0V8 and had the 100k service in Tampa, Fl at Ford dealership Jun 2025 and the cost was $1,981.26. I was shocked!! They changed oil, plugs, flushed brake and coolant and front and rear differential.

Did you not get an estimate beforehand? Never understand how people are "shocked" when they get the final bill for work done by any shop. Get an estimate so you can make an informed decision.

Forgot to ask any belts and hoses? Dealerships dont cut any clack anymore. Every thing done is billed at its individual repair cost. Not to mention the darn "shop fees" now!

Have to admit, the thread title had me going for a bit because I did not know it was possible to have 100,000 services done on a vehicle, but with the shady dealers out there these days, Ya never know

Default Updated deatails

Nothing was actually wrong other than replacing the HVAC blower motor. What else they did:
Replaced HVAC blower motor ($812)
Replaced battery- Legend Premium AGM 36mo ($450!)
New spark plugs- Iridium 1X ($799)
Throttle body/fuel system service ($272)
Transmission service ($736)
Oil change ($155)
Brake fluid exchange ($215)
Cabin air filter ($147)

This is my husband's truck & has been a solid trouble free vehicle. We hope to move out of the country in 3 years, so want to keep the truck running well until then. We've used this shop in our small city several times. I just wanted an idea if the pricing is inline with other independent shops. I do realize prices have gone up on everything- yikes! Hope my low mileage Ford Edge lasts 3 more years too!

Thank you for feedback!
