Default Tuner question?

Hey guys I'm thinking about buying a custom tuner for my 2004 f150. It's a supercrew cab, 6" lift, mud tires, cold air intake, and bully dog programmer. I want a custom tune that will give me a lot more power. Help please

Is your Bully dog device able to support custom tunes? Don't expect a custom tune to give
"a lot" more power. It will account for the intake and run better, but the real gains won't be "a lot". Get a custom tune if the Bully dog can support it, or get a custom tunable device and look into gears. Gears help with larger tires more than anything.

Yeah i see what your saying but I'm not happy with the bully dog at all, and will most likely take the programmer out of my truck ad put it up for sale. I'm talking about getting a custom tune without the bully dog

There's no single best, which is why I gave the links for the two best platforms: SCT (either X3 or Livewire) and Gryphon (monochrome, CS, or CTS).
Custom tuned is best and those devices all support custom tuning. The display features really set one apart from another.

The Predator or Trinity are decent platforms. They aren't as refined as the Edge and SCT platforms. The largest problem is there a few custom tuners to work with the Diablo strategies. Their puck style devices are a waste of time.

I see you have a Ranger. The SCT x3 would be your best bet. Custom tuning and many knowledgeable tuners out there to work on it.
