The gas milage is killing me on my 07 F150 4x4. Would it be stupid for me to trade on a Tacoma or Frontier? I got the truck for the stance and pulling my jet skis/boat when I get it lol. Thanks for the replies...

Ratt, Brother, you do realize your asking Ford truck lovers if you should trade for an off brand. . If you want better gas mileage check out one of Fords V6's. The 3.7L or the ecoboost 3.5L. But remember you can buy a sh*t load of gas for the price difference. Good luck on the decision Marine.

I'd suggest trying to sell your truck outright to get a decent price then shop around for what you're looking for and try and find a deal!!

What mileage are you getting and what are you looking for? The amount of money you'd save in gas is probably less than what you'd lose in a trade or sale.

I drive 50 miles to work everyday and it's not a pretty sight when it comes time to fill up. I have the 36 gallon tank the truck will get about 625 miles to the tank without a problem. If you don't mind doing this 2 times a month

get one of these because it's still a ford
I have no idea what it is. I just saw that pic on the web and thought it was cool.

Edit: the greenish yellow one is a Suzuki

I wish I had your gas bill. I probably do that 4 times a month. A lot more miles though.

To the OP- Maybe it's not worth it as you don't do that many miles. If you want much better mileage you would need to go to a car as you won't get that better mileage from another truck to save enough money. JMO.

Now lets say I get 22 or 24" wheels, a CaI and catback, will I lose or gain mpg or even out? Thanks in advance
