Cool Trade for FX4 or Harley Taillights?

This may be a long shot, but I'm trying to get rid of all of the chrome on my truck. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with an FX4 or Harley Davidson F150 that may like chrome and want to trade me Taillights. I have a 2010.

Long shot indeed. Nobody ever wants the chrome and when they do, won't pay much for them either.

You can find pairs on eBay fairly cheap. People do sell them here sometimes but they go quick!

Take them Part and paint them. Easy peasy. There's videos on here of how to do it.

I haven't looked up videos on how to do it, but I've heard you either bake them to melt the glue and pull them apart, or cut them open. I'll check into it and see if it's worth it, or if I'd be better off buying a pair on eBay

I got the dealer to switch mine out when I bought my truck and they went for it lol.

I got my friend some for 150$ on kijiji and then sold his stock ones for 200. So there's deals around just keep an eye out. Otherwise the paint route shouldn't be too hard from what I've seen.
