Upgrade speakers
I have a 2011 F-150 crew cab Ecoboost. The truck has stock speakers. Occasionally the driver side speaker sounds blown. I am looking to upgrade. Not looking to get crazy with it, just want better speakers and possibly an Amp. I was looking for recommendations on what type of speakers and size; going to replace all 4. Do not want to have to bend or manipulate the speakers or parts of the door to fit the speakers. And if you have any info for an Amp. Thanks for the help.

I have a Pioneer stereo and later bought Pioneer speakers all 4.
Don't remember exact model but I got them all plus the adapters to easily plug into the stock Ford speaker plug, all for like under $100.
And they sound really good!

FYI, the intermittent issue with the one speaker is related to a door harness connector problem. There is a TSB for this where the dealer or you needs to replace the wiring harness for the door. Somewhat a pain to do, but if your getting into the door to swap out speakers. You might want to consider it. (TSB 12-11-4 Front Door Speakers Intermittent )
Another thing to consider, the cheap adapters that you can buy to make the replacement speakers a simple plug n play are not weather tight. My suggestion is seal the back side of the plug on the adapter with silicon to keep the moisture out of them. When I did my door harness, I found the pins in these connectors badly corroded.
