thanks for the pics!was the frame bent? the guy who tolled mine said the frame was bent because the cab is about a half inch closer to the bed on the side that was hit. it looks like it took out everything on the left side of the motor . makes me sick . i'll let you know the outcome.

Didn't this occur soon after you bought it? I think I saw this pic in another thread?

The cab being closer to the box on one side doesn't mean the frame is bent.
(Not that I'm saying it isn't, but rather that's a poor way of judging).

Lots of F-150's come that way from the factory.

My '10 is 1/4" askew and it's never been damaged.

I see that your passenger airbag went off. Did the passenger too? The bags are expensive and insurance companie seem wary to replace them. My daughter's car was totaled last May. Verty little damage- she drove it home. The airbags were about a 1/3 of the cost to fix. It was a Pontiac and maybe that didn't help. She was not even going that fast-stop and go traffic. She hit the hitch of a SUV.

well i hope you know that when you say, "i dont know if i really want it fixed." that it isnt up to you if it gets fixed or not. its up to the insurance company, if they say its gonna be fixed then its gonna be fixed cuz they will have to pay you more for it to be totaled. but i dont think its totaled. my uncle went through a telephone pole a few weeks ago. only part of the body thats original on it is the passenger side of the bed and the tail gate. everything else is replaced and they didnt say it was totaled.

Well, I'm just glad that you made it out ok.

I think it's going to be close.
