Default Toolbox or Tonneau Cover?

I'm having a hard time with this. I've had a Bakflip G2 and now I'm using a Cam-Locker toolbox. So which do you prefer? I am familiar with the combo box/covers as well.

I love my cover!! And I just recently added the undercover swing case! Get best of both worlds! Would like to see what other people think also...

This is a personal preference choice. There 2 totally different things for 2 totally different scenarios.

If you want, get a stealth (flush) toolbox and a cover.

This is the best of both worlds. very neat, clean, and practical. once I decide on what cover im going to get these tool boxes will be next on my list.

I find this very frustrating. I've wasted too much money. I sold my bakflip g2 and bought a chest toolbox. Didn't like the chest box so I bought a cam-locker over the rail toolbox. I really miss my g2 so I ordered another one and a bakbox 2 today. I think that I will finally be happy. If any of you guys need a toolbox, let me know! Ha

I didn't think I'd ever get a tool chest for mine, but when someone had one for $50, I couldn't pass it up. Now, I'm glad I got it. I keep a lot of stuff in there that I don't have to keep somewhere else. Straps, small tool box, limb saw, blanket, blocks of wood for the camper, jumper cables, chain saw chaps and hunting supplies.

Default Tonneau for sure

Sometimes I put the tool box under the cover for Valuables.

Coming from having a canopy/topper on my last truck and having help my buddy remove his hard tonneau cover many times I vote for a tool box, if you must have a cover get one that retracts.

I hate having the cargo restricted

That's my 2 cents.

I read limb saw and processed that as human limbs! Eyes popped out of my head, luckily I continued to read and context clues helped me decipher

Toolbox for me. Can keep a bunch of gear and emergency supplies in there while the cab stays pristine and clutter-free. Plus I like just throwing gear, equipment, etc over the side into the bed when I can vs unlocking the tailgate--pushing the stuff inside--locking the tailgate back. My choice might be different if I lived in snow country but thankfully I don't. Several friends have bought used trucks with toolboxes already on the truck. They didn't want one originally but after using the one that came with the truck they discovered how invaluable it is to have. Where I live toolboxes outnumber tonneau covers by a huge margin--probably 15-1 at the very least.
