Default Toggle switch under rear bumper 2013 F150 4X4

I recently purchased a 2013 F150 from a local dealer. I was looking under the truck to see what type of tire the spare was and noticed a toggle switch under the bumper by the trailer hitch in the off position. I could see it was aftermarket. The truck originally came from Texas so I was thinking maybe an alarm or cut off switch for ignition. If anyone has any idea's I would appreciate it.

I think you're going to need to trace it, bud.

I'm with techrep - flip the switch and see what happens.

But FIRST - appoint someone who can report the results back here just in case, ya know, maybe you're not able to after you slip the switch.

As stated, trace the wires. It will be the best thing to do.

I'm always leery flipping random switches on a new vehicle. Who knows where the wires go and if they cut wires to remove a accessory and there are bare wires somewhere.
