Default Tires??

So just got my new 2010 FX4 last week and the 20" Perelli's on the truck seem to be ok with the amount of snow and ice we have up here in Canada already. Only real problem is when the truck sits outside in -19C the tires develop flat spots and rides a bit rough on the hwy for a couple min until they warm up then its smooth as a babies butt!. I have seen good reviews on the tires and bad.....mostly the flat spotting problem. No biggy to me......anyways we are going on a road trip to Fernie next weekend to do some skiing and just curious if these tires are going to be ok on a 8hr drive encountering who knows what kind of weather??

I have always been a fan of the Hankook Dyna pro rf10 ATM's and wonder if I should pay the $1000 upgrade for them.....they get excellent reviews for all-weather driving and beat out the Perelli's in all catagories......

Any suggestions people??

Cheers

Here is what I just did. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/hmmm-w...ould-do-72536/

If it's not winter tires you want the only other tires that I would buy are the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2 or Firestone Destination AT. Both are fantastic tires and are awesome in wet and good in snow.

go to tirerack.com and look at the mileage that these tires have reported.

We run the Hankooks on our dodge 1ton had pulls a 48' trailer I can say the tires are worth it. Great traction on ice. I could barely walk on the iced highway and yet traction was even a issue! They're pretty good in the deep stuff too.

Ya, I am kind of leaning towards the Hankooks. I know the tires and they get a 4.5 out of 5 rating on pretty well all the websites.

Will keep you updated once the tires are on......
