Thoughts on purchasing a 2015 F150 HDPP

Does the VIN actually indicate the truck you're looking at is a 2015 model year? Reason I ask, I was under the impression that, while listed in the brochure's for 2015, Ford actually wasn't able to build any HDPP trucks. Also, beginning in 2015, the wheels on the trucks with HDPP reverted to 6 lugs, instead of the 7 lug wheels on the 2014 and earlier HDPP models.
They have replaced both spark plugs and coils and it's still doing it. They have about one more chance to fix it the stumble is much improved after the coil change but not 100% yet.
The vin decoder on this forum says it has a maximum of 2070 lbs payload and max of 8900 lbs towing. But it also specifically specifies the hdpp so I'm not sure what's up with that as the numbers seem low. It also says the paint is red but this truck is white.

OP The picture you posted is not the truck - that picture is a 5.5' box on a the Platinum trim
Here is a link I found by searching the VIN.
Link - does this look like the vehicle?

HDPP trucks went to 6 lug after 2014. What's the GVWR? That's the easiest and most definitive way to tell a HDPP truck. For a 2015+, I think the GVWR is around 7600#. A non HDPP truck will be around 7000# or less.

@imhip2 yes you found the correct truck. I am not sure why in the ss I posted, the picture of the truck was wrong. I didn't post that screenshot for the picture of the truck but for the description of it. The vin calculator brought up the options you can see at the bottom of the ss.

Just bought a 2018 STX in Jan for 28.5 with the 2.7-10 speed. Why give the dealer so much for a high mileage hdpp . A nice used truck is still used. A new 18 fx4 or 4x4 will be much less of a mystery. I have watched so many folks do what your proposing and have a 10k motor blow. Not fun. Just my concern for you. Good luck.

Check the actual yellow payload sticker, I doubt this unit is a true HDPP. I ordered a 2015 HDPP and Ford returned my down payment and cancelled my order. Ford could not build any 2015s due to HDPP frame shortages. We did on this forum only find only two; one was in a magazine article with Lance Campers and another was found in Canada. I searched nationally and finally found a 2014 Canadian used HDPP to buy. I can't find production numbers, but if it is a true 2015 HDPP it is probably one of about 10 made. 2016s were delayed for production until late second quarter, with first deliveries in the late summer/early fall 2016.
I wouldn't be afraid of the mileage. The main thing is use and service. If this was a commercial use truck hauling an equipment trailer with multiple drivers, run away. If it has holes in the bed for a 5th wheel, Be cautious. Well cared for 250000+ miles should be expected.
Price is just a little high to me. This truck you are looking cost about $52k new, if bought right; now it is half worn out. Negotiate for a little more off.

Thanks for the advice!!! Yes I am not planning on paying 22k for it at all. Where do i find the yellow payload sticker and what will it say if it is a true hdpp? I dont know how infallible the vin calculators are. No 5th wheel hitch.
