How does the tailgate emblem come off, i have a 07 screw FX4... it needs to be replaced

 

The emblem should be held on with 3m adhesive and possibly with two or three pegs. Try using a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the adhesive on the back. Then try using a piece of fishing line, working it back and forth to work it off. That's how I got my 03 emblems off my pickup.
