I got the 04-05 Ford Shop manual DVD. If anyone wants copies I can burn them and send them out for $5. Just let me know.

You should really consider having the tranny flushed at a minimum

Just so that I am clear, you are saying that dealerships charge close to $500 to have the below 30K mile maintenance done to our trucks???

-inspect engine cooling system and hoses

- replace engine air filter
- replace fuel filter
- replace cabin filter
- Change automatic transmission fluid on vehicles equipped with torqshift and 4R100 transmissions. Replace remote filter element on the vehicles equipped with the torqshifttransmission. Inspect automatic transmission/transaxle fluid level on all other vehicles. , if equipped with the dipstick. Consult your dealer for your particular requirements.
- replace climate controlled seat filters (navigator, aviator, expedition)
- lube 4x2 ball joints and steering linkage if equipped with zerk fittings
- inspect and lube 4x4 front axle shaft u-joints (F250/350/450/550 and excursion)
- multipoint inspection recommended.
