You are right But that was not road rage. I live in Las Vegas. it turned out to be something different.

but it sounded like you are the one with the problem. You where going to get out of your truck because he cut you off. You must be bad if your old lady is was already telling you NO DONT DO IT. Then the fact that you did that with her in the car and on her side. What would have happen it he throw something and hit her of shoot out his truck. On her side. Maybe you should calm down a little. I know it sucks but is it really worth it.
NOW before you get all crazy with me. I got some road rage problems I am not perfect but I would never do that with my wife in the truck. I laugh at people that get all crazy.
One thing I do is start yelling and hit the wheel just looking all crazy and stuff, when people come up next to me and I know they are going to start stuff. Its really funny because it scares the S&%t out of people. They must be like "oh crap they guy is crazy as hell" I got to go. I would just drive but people are crazy and will follow. I do carry a gun but I have never pulled it out on a person. Its for the just in case.

^Poor judgement on me...knee jerk reaction - not smart. I do know better. I would never ever pull my gun in a situation (it's in the cab) like that, but their are a lot of uneducated half wits , separated from the herd that shouldn't have them and do.I was raised to settle an altercation with fists when needed, not to pull a gun or knife on a whim. Again... the testosterone is flowing, ....but still should have just shook my head and moved on. :dulynoted:

I had a similar situation today myself. I went to our local reserve for gas and on theback into town o merged im onto the highway. As soon as I reached speed I had a white Newer Hyundai SUV (male driver) tailgate me for probably 5kms, I then reached the lights and they were red I am now in the right lane (slow lane) I take off and reach the speed limit and Buddy decides to draft me and pass, I'm thinking good next thing I know he carves it in front of me and at this point Im looking At my hood and he was probably an inch from taking me out had that if happened I probably would've done the P.I.T maneuver on him and we both would've been in the ditch not too sure if how good fait would've been on that one, luckily that didn't happen and he realized what he did and swerved back into his lane but his SUV went into the shakes and was able to recover (if Icy out would've went into oncoming traffic) and the best part we reach another set of lights and this time he cuts everybody off and crosses 5 lanes of traffic from the far left turn lane to the right off ramp!!

Be thankful you were in a truck & in a spot where 2 lanes combined to 1
I was starting to go under a narrow bridge when a B*tch in a Mercedes decides to pass & cut me off when on my MC
Yeah road rage.....I caught up after the bridge & caved her door in w/my boot

HA !! Reminds me of my Uncle, his hot wife was driving while he was napping w/seat fully reclined
He wakes up to hear guys yelling to her from car next to them (on drivers side)
He's like WTF ?? She tells him they won't leave her alone...He sez stop at the next light & fully recline your seat
She does & he pops up from his seat w/his pistol.....no intent to shoot but scared the crap outta them

I have never pulled it out driving. That's crazy. I carry because this city is crazy. You need to reread it.

Reread what? I agree...I said I would not pull the pistol and did not. And I would never flash it to scare anyone, that's plain ignorant.
Point of the matter is...that their are people that have them in their possession that have no business.

Talking

I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Jane was waiting.

"That was fun," I said.

"You bet it was," said Jane. "Let's climb higher."

"No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now."

"We have time," Jane insisted.

I said we didn't, and Jane said we did.

I said we didn't, and Jane said we did.

I said we didn't, and Jane said we did.

I said we didn't, and Jane said we did.

I said we didn't, and Jane said we did.

I said we didn't, and Jane said we did.

We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back.

I didn't say it was an interesting story.

Next thing I know this white F150 comes out of nowhere (right merge lane...) and cuts me off-like real frickin close? WTH....ohh good red light. I'm hot now...my wife's like take it easy, it's not worth it (I know she's right, and good thing she's with me). I roll down the passenger window(my wife's on the cell) and look this A-Hole straight in the face and ask him if he's fuc**** retarded. He's like what? I again I persistantly (ask) told him I believed he had dyslexia. Now I know road rage isn't the right course of action...especially in the AZ, but man did that fry my a**. My wife is freaking.....don't do it, don't get out (as my hand is on the door handle). Light turn green...and off he goes flipping me off as he bolts... This from a fellow F150 owner....where's the love? I just wanted to talk to him about it. :MMA:
Because I wasn't there I can't say either of you were right or wrong, but that's just normal daily driving in the big city as far as I know. I think following the rules and/or showing courtesy is now a thing of the past- it seems to be every person for themselves. I do know that(at least around here) if you show weakness or any sign of not protecting your position on the road, every other car around you will most likely take every advantage of you in every way that is possible, including forcing you into oncoming traffic or the shoulder of the road. It's a war zone out there- expect the worst and you'll seldom be surprised.
